Our professionals evaluate every gown and determine the best gown cleaning method for each. We use an earth-friendly cleaning solution that’s better for the environment than traditional dry cleaning methods. Our cleaning will leave your gown bright and soft to the touch without that “dry-cleaning” smell.

What can I see through the Wedding Dress Preservation Kits display window?

Your preserved wedding dress and veil is positioned in front of the window. If you wish to include other items for preservation, they will be placed at the bottom of the window or underneath the dress

What other things should I send with my gown?

If you share on social media at checkout, you can send two additional items. Accessories that can be included as part of the kit are your veil, detachable train, gloves, handkerchief, shawl, jacket, cape, duster, small purse, money bag, ring pillow, garter, scarf, and/or hat. Additional fees may apply for more than two items.

Can Wedding Dress Preservation Kits repair a damaged gown?

We have a highly trained staff that can handle most repairs for a nominal fee. Please contact us if you would like a repair quote.

How can I track my wedding dress after sending to Wedding Dress Preservation Kits?

Be sure not to lose your UPS tracking number provided with the prepaid shipping label in your package. Visit the UPS Web site to track your shipment and confirm delivery. If you would like an e-mail confirmation, please include your email address and you will be notified when your package is in the tracking system. Continue to check the UPS tracking site to confirm delivery in case you do not receive an email confirmation. How long will the process take to receive my presered gown?

The standard process take approximately 4-6 weeks. If you spend 20$ extra, you can have turnaround time in 2-4 weeks.

What is the Satisfaction Guarantee?

We guarantee that your gown will never yellow. If you gown yellows, we will restore your gown at no charge.

How can I prevent my gown from turning yellow?

Keep your gown away from heat or sunlight and store your dress in a cool dark place. Plastic bags tend to emit fumes that can cause your dress to yellow. Remember that silk yellows more than nylon or other synthetic fabrics.

How can I personalize my gown preservation chest?

Wait until the kit comes in the mail, then fill out the paperwork!

What could be damaging agents for my wedding gown over the years?

Mildew, mold, permanent creasing, oxidation, improper storage, dirt, dust, light, and oils from your hand are the main factors. If you wish to handle your dress, please wash your hands pre-handling.

Stains are inevitable no matter how hard you try to protect your wedding dress during the big day. Your sweeping dress is victim to stains from the environment and uncontrollable moments during the reception when you wind up wearing your food and drink. Part of our wedding gown dry cleaning process is to remove stains from dirt, blood, tar, grass, mud, cake, icing, alcoholic beverages, and soda.

What is perchlorethylene?

Perchlorethylene, better known as perc, is a colorless fluid most often used in the dry cleaning industry. This chemical can cause environmental and serious health problems depending on the amount of exposure. Memories Wedding Gown Preservation uses perc-free solutions to clean your wedding dress
